I’ve
been wanting to share this with you all week so here it is…
I
was listening to the Monday Morning Memo by Roy H. Williams this week and I
couldn’t help but think of what you’ve given us through CEO Space.
So
many people have a hard time putting the Forum into words and this may not
suffice but it sure did resonate with the Orlando group last night.
CEO
Space is my Rue de Rome, my Never Never Land. The people who give back
are my Picasso, Hemingway, Fitzgerald and Dali’s. They are the “Lost
Boys” to my inner Peter Pan.
None
of us ever grew up envisioning and aspiring to the “rutts” that we
get ourselves into. Nor do we ever see that destructive virus of
competitive business that we allow ourselves to be infected with.
We
show up to the forum looking for solutions “thinking” that we know
best how to get it. Then it happens… someone listens. They hear a
whisper of our true self speaking passionatly from our heart. That
whisper of a voice is then encouraged to come out.
We
are told we can fly so we try, try, try.
By
Wednesday or Thursday we are so exhausted that we stop trying to do it our way.
Out of exhaustion we become still. We listen to the Lost Boys on
this island who have known there is someone else inside. Someone who has
been suppressed away till there is little that resembles whom we were meant to
be.

We
begin to hear what has been trying to come out – but doesn’t. Not until
we start to hear the music of an old song, see colors that were forgotten and
